The company was born in 2024 as Bright Angel Outfitters—inspired by our love of the magnificent Grand Canyon and its most famous trail—and was rebranded as hiKin in 2025.

The brand was founded by the husband/wife team of Brian and Zeena Speciale. The company's home base is North Phoenix—just a 3 1/2 hour drive from the South Rim.
